The cubic and clearly designed Tecta booth in Hall 16 of the Salone del Mobile Milano 2022 formed a strong contrast to the round shapes of the new D70 armchair by Marco Dessí, aptly named the “Optimist”. In various color and material combinations, the armchair demonstrated its versatility here for the first time. With this furniture, Tecta continues its strategy of adding contemporary designs to its historical pieces by Marcel Breuer, Walter Gropius or Gerrit Rietveld while maintaining a clear line.

Other highlights of the booth were the new colors of the Bauhaus classics, which always look surprisingly fresh and contemporary.
