The circular shape is the defining element of the new LOT Lite. More precisely, the semicircle. The two supporting surfaces of the table legs are divided by a large semicircle and connect filigree at two points with the tabletop above. The tabletop itself is also rounded in the shape of a semicircle at both ends and adapts fluidly to the surrounding space. The precisely crafted table from the Tecta joinery in Lauenförde has both a harmonious and architectural effect and, with its curves, invites people to linger and communicate together.

The qualified carpenter and trained architect, who freely admits he likes to work with his hands, went freelance in 2014 with his design firm Interior Things based in Holzminden. The central theme of his work is creating clear designs and order through passion and precision. Thus also arose “Meterware”, his desk and wall tray system. True to Hartauer’s intent, a design that urges: “Take me in your hands and move me!” Powder-coated aluminium profiles hold stylish wooden or felt trays.
