Saisoneröffnung Tecta Kragstuhlmuseum
Friday / 10 – 17
Saturday / 10 – 16

The Tecta Cantilever Chair Museum starts its new season on the first weekend in March 2024. Just in time for the opening of the season, we are pleased to announce a new special exhibition of the airy kind: the large-format, textile works made of white linen, which are shown across our 3 museum halls, are currently being created in Kerstin Bruchhäuser’s studio. Look forward to further details in an upcoming newsletter – and be sure to keep a place in your diary for this unique exhibition.

Kerstin Bruchhäuser uses used textiles as a medium for her works. The antique trousseau she uses is respectfully recycled as a carrier of memories and transferred into a new context. In a series of installations in the Tecta Kragstuhlmuseum from 2024 – 2026, new large-format and then small-scale works will be created that illuminate the origin, continued existence and present in the context of the permanent exhibition.
